We start the wedding day with you approximately 30 minutes before the ceremony starts, filming details as well as the outside and the inside of the church, which we will set to music. If you wish, we can do a short interview and ask the bride and groom (separately) a few questions about their “love story”. Once it is time for the ceremony, we will shoot from about five rows back on the groom’s side to get the best shot. We will capture the ceremony until your exit from the church. All our videography packages come with a wireless microphone for the groom at the ceremony because it is very important to hear, as well as see, for a memorable wedding ceremony video.
If you choose to have your reception filmed, we will capture the details as well as the inside and outside of the hall, which, again, we will set to music. We will then capture your grand entrance, your toast/blessing, cake cutting, first dance and family dances, bouquet/garter toss, and any other formalities, as well as some “candid” footage. Also, we can have your guests leave some comments on your video, especially immediate family and your bridal party. The videographer generally stays for about 3 to 4 hours of the reception. A “goodbye” shot can also be taken to end the video.
We can also do a picture slide show of both of you growing up and getting together and place this on the video. This consists of twenty pictures of the bride, twenty pictures of the groom, and twenty pictures of you together, with music that you choose. Another entertaining option that we offer is to project this slideshow at your reception on a big screen. If you choose, we can also place twenty pictures of your honeymoon on your DVD.
